Beloved politician who has plowed many victory gardens in his day, including book publishing, Madison County nature trail,TARCOG, Madison County Record, constitutional walk at botanical gardens, served as the chairman of local constitutional bicentennial celebration, voted the humanitarian of the year in 1989 by The Arthritis Foundation, recognized nationally and statewide as one of our best county officials ever and he was involved with county government for 33 years, helped in the founding of the Jetport, Ditto Llanding Marina, U.A.H., Huntsville- Madison County Hall of Fame and the Alabama Space and Rocket Center!
