All-State center at football at H.H.S... went on to Vanderbilt for a great career (4 Year Letterman)... Now a district Judge in Texas! His Vanderbilt team defeated Auburn in 1947-48-49 and 50. The Commodores beat Alabama in 1947-49-50... Tied in 48, 14-14... The 1948 team ranked 10th in the nation !
