Rison High School's gift to early Huntsville's sports folk lore!... He Played with folks like 'Country' Bailey. Red Snipes and Houston Goodson! They won the Industrial League State Championship twice in basketball... Woodrow played semi-pro baseball all over the state of Alabama in the season of 1934... He lost only two games that year and once defeated Hub Myhand in a pitcher's duel!
