Kenny also lettered two years in baseball while at Florence State. Kenny continued his participation upon the athletic scene as an adult working for the YMCA, where he was instrumental in bringing T-Ball to the youth of our area. He later became an outstanding coach and teacher at Lee High School. You can tell a lot about the man Kenny Daniel by his response to the question, Who do you respect the most of the people who influenced you in your formative years? Kenny said, With all due respect to the men I played with or was coached by, the men I respected the most were the cotton mill village workers of Huntsville. On a hot summer day, they would emerge from the mills drenched in sweat and covered with cotton lint and go home and play ball with or coach their sons or brothers until the dark of night. I thank God for such men as these and they will forever be dear to my heart. Kenny is married to the former Mary Neyman and they have two children, Robert Trent Daniel and Kendra Daniel Schuerer.
